We often hear from riders who are going through the rewarding and challenging experience of training a young horse. But what about those young horses and what they go through?

On September 13, 2017, the National Partners group confirmed the funding, which they earmarked for targeted sports and disciplines. Of the $115,000 total, $70,000 was granted for next generation athletes in the Olympic discipline of jumping, while $45,000 was directed to rising athletes in the equestrian Paralympic sport of para-dressage.

The new Horses in Sport exhibit at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame at Canada’s Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta, opened in September, 2017, and will be featured for five years. The plan is to take it around the country and share it with communities throughout Canada.
