CBC’s hit television series, Heartland, has just released its Fourth Season DVD set, Healing Horses… Healing Hearts. This Canadian based show, set on a family ranch, Heartland, in southern Alberta, is meant to be enjoyed by the whole family, and especially the horse lover.
Season Four sees main character Amy Fleming continuing to work to heal and retrain neglected and abused horses. Special projects for Amy include training a racehorse to jump, saving abandoned horses, and keeping her relationship with Ty Borden, a once troubled teen, together.
Lou, Amy’s sister, struggles to live two lives, one in Dubai, and one at Heartland, which takes a toll on her marriage. Jack and Tim, Amy’s grandfather and father, quarrel with their usual frequency, and the neighbour who never seems to leave, Mallory Wells, continues to get herself into sticky situations.
As a bonus, the Season Four DVD set comes with a Special Features disc. Go behind the scenes of Heartland and watch interviews with the cast and crew, entertaining bloopers, and learn about the making of Heartland.
Just in time for the holiday season, Heartland Christmas is a two episode special DVD that takes Ty and Amy far from home into the dark recesses of the Kananaskis Mountains. Watch them learn the true meaning of Christmas as they save starving horses and reunite an estranged family.
