FedEx Ordered to Pay Nova Scotia Breeder

September 25, 2017After a FedEx “Priority Overnight” delivery of fresh semen from BC took two days, a horse breeder in Nova Scotia won a claim over the late shipment.
The operator of Owls Ridge Farm in Seaforth, NS, had ordered the semen from a farm in Langley, BC. When the shipment took two days to arrive, and failed to impregnate the mare, FedEx was ordered to pay $740.36 in damages to help cover veterinary bills.
