Mine That Bird takes the 2009 Kentucky Derby in the slop. Notice Mine That Bird didn't get a call until he was well ahead of the pack and 1 furlong away from the finish line. Glad Tom Durkin retired from calling anymore Triple Crown races. It's time to give Mark Johnson the call of the Derby on the NBC coverage at least.
