Saskatchewan Association of Veterinary Technologists
The 34th Annual Saskatchewan Association of Veterinary Technologists' Conference will take place November 2 to 4, 2018, at the Saskatoon Inn and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. We are excited to host Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) and those dedicated to animals and veterinary medicine from throughout Canada and the United States, and focus on animal wellness and welfare. Our conference is one of the only conferences specifically geared towards RVTs and the crucial work that they do. This weekend is vital to the continued development of RVTs.
For this year’s conference, we are excited to welcome Tasha McNerney, BS, CVT, CVPP, VTS (Anesthesia); Sue Loly, LVT, VTS-Equine Nursing; Jenn Panko, RVT, CCRP VTS (Physical Rehabilitation) OCMC, CAPMC; and many others. We are offering tracks on anesthesia, poultry, equine, rehabilitation, bovine, small animal medicine, and communications. There is also an Animal Welfare Afternoon, tradeshow, job fair, our annual general meeting, a banquet, entertainment, various wet labs and sessions.

Registration for our conference is open and filling up fast. Many of our sessions and wet labs have a limited number of seats available so early registration is recommended to ensure that you get the sessions you are hoping for. All registrations are taken online through our website.
Our conference would not be possible without the continued dedication of our sponsors and supporters, which include our Diamond Sponsor Royal Canin and our various other sponsors that include Canadian Horse Journal.
